“I came to Tegan following a change to non-monogamy in my relationship, which triggered a lot of performance anxiety I hadn’t experienced before. The holistic approach and connecting feelings back to my body were something new for me, and it’s been by far the best experience in counselling I’ve had.”

If you’re unsure where to begin, you’re welcome to get in touch and we can explore which service best suits your needs.
Sex therapy offers space for individuals to explore their sexuality and intimacy. It can include talking, somatic work and creative interventions that help you understand who you are as a sexual being.
This is also for couples who are also moving through sexuality challenges together. If one partner is struggling sexually it can often be part of the relationship dynamic and is most beneficial to explore this as a couple.
Home practices will be given between sessions which we will unpack together afterwards.Couples therapy supports partners to understand patterns and conflict, repair from ruptures, improve communication and navigate difficulties together.

A private space
Confidence that you will not be interrupted or overheard
An understanding that technology/Wi-Fi connection can at times be unreliable and a small amount of this is to be expected. In the case that the session becomes impossible both the client and myself will be responsible for upgrading the necessary systems for the
therapy to continue. All my online sessions are conducted over Zoom. I will provide a link and you’ll have to download Zoom on to your computer, tablet or phone to access our call via the link.
We may be in different timezones. I will always makes sure I know your timezone and arrange sessions accordingly. If you or I happen to change timezones whilst working together we can adjust our session time. The beauty of online work!
If I’m working with you and your partner and you have different routines you’ll both require the Zoom app. Couples can dial in from seperate devices, locations and timezones to make sure the sessions still go ahead and the benefit of on-going therapy is most beneficial

What online clients have said:
“The process done via Zoom was very valid and went smoothly, as I could also continue my sessions when I was travelling and not stop the continuous process.”
Male, 35y/o“Although reluctant at the beginning in doing therapy over Zoom I can confidently say that it was a comfortable experience that luckily worked for us and fundamentally saved our marriage.”
- Heterosexual couple
“I felt safe and able to open up and it was possible to establish a strong, supportive
therapeutic relationship over zoom.”
- Male, 37y/oYou can be as comfortable as you’d like to be in your own home eg. Blankets, lying down, walking in backyard in the sunshine, endless tea/snacks
You don’t need to carve out time to commute to therapy.
It can make sessions more accessible with your routine
You have more time for things you may miss by commuting to therapy eg. Dinners with your family, that sleep in before work
What makes therapy personal is that you are opening up in a way you don’t usually with others and are being seen and heard. This doesn’t rely on being face to face, the therapeutic process is just as beneficial.

You can expect an email response from me on the same day but can range between 1-2 working days.
When I respond it’ll be to arrange a Discovery Call (free 15 minute call) or an Introductory Session at a day and time that works for both of us.
The introductory session:
- Gives you the chance to see what therapy is like with me
- Gives me a chance to take an assessment to see how best we’d wok together.
- Is a paid, full hour session.Depending on what service you are wanting I will reply with and intake form and consent agreements that need to be filled out and signed before we have our first meet.
This is to make sure I know what you’re looking for and I’m the right practitioner for you
Before your Introductory Session I will send you my Therapy Agreement - a contract-like document outlining the rights and responsibilities of therapy if we are to move forward working together. This will need to be signed before the Introductory Session.
**Please note that you are not locked into anything when you sign this. Only when/if you decide to move forward with therapy the Agreement will apply. After the Introductory Session I will advise to take a couple of days to see how the session felt with me. It’s so important for this work that you feel a connection with the practitioner you choose.
- If you want to move forward with our work together simply email saying so. Together we will agree a time/day that we will meet each week.- If you decide you don’t want to move forward simply drop me an email saying so and we can close it off then and there.
I hope you now have a better idea of what to expect if you are thinking of/wanting to book a session. If you are still left with questions please don’t hesitate to reach out.
